Millennium Powerboats
Construction

We are dedicated to building the highest quality possible into every boat that comes from our molds. We have retained the classic look using the latest advancements in technology and materials to produce a superior quality boat that requires less maintenance. The new boats are also lighter, stronger and more rigid than previous models.

Gel coat

Premium gel coat graphics are an integral part of the finish. This provides reparability, matchless clarity, and high-gloss buff back.

Fiberglass

Completely hand laminated following a strict lamination schedule.

Skin coat in hull is vinyl ester resin and ¾ oz. fiberglass mat for maximum protection against osmotic blistering.

Hull lay-up for the Heritage line consists of alternating layers of 1 1/2 oz. Mat, 10 oz. Cloth, and 18 oz. roving.

Hull lay-up for the Performance line consists of several layers of 1708 biaxial fabric.

Stringers, bulkheads and floor support grid system in the Heritage line are Aqua ply plus treated marine fir plywood.

Stringers for the Performance line are white oak to provide maximum strength.

All wood is fully encapsulated in fiberglass.

All cavities under floor are filled with expanding flotation foam and sealed with fiberglass.

Service channel for the Heritage line is fiber glassed in place beneath a large, fully carpeted ski locker. All engine wiring and steering cable is routed through this channel.

Deck and hull are fully bonded around the entire perimeter for a completely unitized construction.

Bilge is flow-coated with gel coat to ease cleaning; seal laminate and provide great appearance.
